! Available 3 NuGO grants of €500 available for PhDs and postdocs (< 3 years after obtaining the PhD) of a NuGO member organization.
The 7th Nutrition Winter School 2023 - The Saga of the Gut: Future foresights is a week filled with fantastic scientific talks, great conversations with colleagues including an outdoorsy social programme. This time they will meet in the snowy town of Saariselkä in Lapland, Finland. The theme, "The Saga of the Gut", lead the participants to understand the various roles of the gut in health and disease.

Because the very last call for the registration to the Nutrition Winter School 2023 is the 9.12.2022,
the deadline for requesting financial support from NuGO is 1st of October 2022!
The request for financial support should be addressed to [email protected] and include your
CV and the Abstract you wish to submit to the Winter School 2023.
Reimbursement
The participants need to register and pay the course/accommodation themselves first. Reimbursement of the granted amount of money (500 Euro) will be done after the course.
A report made by the grantees together and a group picture of the grantees should be send to the NuGO office within 2 weeks after the course! You will get more information on this when you are selected.

"BIOHACKATHON EUROPE" organized by ELIXIR Europe in Paris
Following the success of the previous editions of the BioHackathon Europe (2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021) organised by ELIXIR Europe, and building on the BioHackathons organised by National Bioscience Database Center (NBDC) and Database Center for Life Science (DBCLS), we are planning to run BioHackathon Europe 2022 in Paris 7-11 November 2022. We hope to build on our success and encourage more ELIXIR and non-ELIXIR participants to take part, as well as attract further industry engagement.

Grant information
NuGO will make 2 course grants available covering an amount of €400.
Selection will be made based on the following criteria:
• One candidate per member organisation
• Candidate’s research topic should be related to the course topic
Note: If more people of one institute will join we would like to ask you to give a priority in case we have spaces left.

Deadline: 10th of July 2022
