* Introduction to metabolomics
* Chemometrical analysis of metabolomics data, theory and practices
* Applications of metabolomics analyses in different fields of medical and biosciences

Start of the course and location and (draft) programme
The course will start on Monday morning at 09.00hrs (see tentative programme)  Lecturers will be held in: Computer class MC3 (26computers), Canthia Building. Kuopio Campus, University of Eastern Finland

Breaks and Lunches
Everyone is responsible for own coffees and lunches (not provided by the organisers), there are several restaurants at the campus.

Study load
The study load of this course is: 1.5 ECTS points. Buid up as follow: 16h of lectures and 18 h of exercises with chemometric and metabolomic programs. Group work & presentation of results on Friday. Tutorial reading will be sent to participants in advance.

Fee
No course fee for Doctoral students and academic personnel
350 Euro for national authorities 
500 Euro for commercial participants

Accommodation
It is advisable to arrive on Sunday as the course starts Monday morning 9.00. Everyone should make their own arrangements for accommodation.
