The Karolinska Institutet Lipid laboratory is hosting a SYSDIET Workshop - Adipocyte biology and methods on 11-15th October 2010.Programme - click here
The course lectures cover the molecular basis of fat cell metabolic events and phenotypes, and will also give an overview of methods for studying human fat cells. However, the focus of the course is laboratory work, such as isolating fat cells and carrying out specific phenotyping.

Due to the laboratory work, the number of participant in the course is limited. Information about admittance to the course will be sent out in June.
The course fee is 1500 SEK. This and a SYSDIET grant covers direct costs for the course, hotel in Stockholm (11-15th October 2010), lunches and a course dinner.
This is not a NuGOworkshop and NuGO grants are NOT available.
