Authentication procedure of the NBX

Users granted access to the NBX can use their NuGO account to logon to the machines, and to use several resources (with the exception of GenePattern for which this is not yet in place). In order to authenticate users loging on to the NBXs, a central LDAP server has been installed, plus a back-up server. These accounts are synchronised with the accounts on the NuGO-net server. In addition, for the commercial programs, people need to specifically ask access as the number of licences/connections available is limited.
