Getting access to an NBX
Since everybody can register on the NuGO website to become a NuGO member, access to the NBXs is not granted automatically for every member. However, for people working at NuGO participating institutes or partners, an easy procedure to get access to the machines has been put into place. At NuGO intranet (NuGO-net) people can find the name and administrator of their own NBX in a table. Requesting access to the machine at their institute (or a cooperating institute) can then be easily done by sending an email to the administrator. After access has been granted, the user can logon to any NBX in the network, store data and use resources. Note that this not mean that the user can see any of the data stored on these machines by other users, unless these are shared to the user by their owners.
